WHIG is a knowledge sharing and networking group within Dalhousie University that seeks to highlight and share new and ongoing research on women’s health and to support and promote women in research—both locally and globally.

WHIG was founded in 2019 by Health Promotion graduate students, Emma Cameron and Kathryn Stone, who are both conducting research in diverse areas of women’s health. WHIG is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students of all genders across a wide array of Dalhousie faculties, including Health Promotion, Health, Kinesiology, Psychology and Neuroscience, Law, Health Administration and more.
